Better Choice Of Hotel Trump Taj Or Show Boat

trying to decide which hotel, Trump Taj Or Showboat. Atlantic city. We expect to use beach and pool. thank you. My husband can not walk far.

Showboat pool is tiny and outdoors and on the roof. And two of the 3 towers elevators are near valet, with a long walk to the beach. Tajs pool is indoors, on floor drat, 5 or 6 in the original tower, the elevators are about midway in the casino making it closer for the beach. I suggest to go for the original tower in Taj as Chairman Tower is a longer walk

Also, all casinos have free wheelchairs. Most are available at coatcheck, but feel free to ask at checkin to be sure. These wheelchairs are not allowed outside the casino or on the beach. There are surf chairs available from the city excerpt: Handicap surf chairs are available free of charge on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please call 347-5312 in advance to make arrangements. Storage is available for standard wheel chairs while using the surf chair. Surf chairs can accommodate up to 350 lbs And I think the closest ramp is past Showboat, next to Garden Pier

One of the biggest complaints here among guests is the hotels lack of features, they particularly miss the casino that is now closed. There are no fitness facilities or other amenities like a spa or pool, but the hotel does offer a couple of dining options. The ACE serves American classics and comfort food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Theres also a casual surf bar thats open seasonally and offers food/drink service on the beach. Theres a year-round cafe that serves coffee and breakfast pastries. Pets are welcome here for a fee. Wi-Fi is free throughout. Parking incurs a daily fee . Note that guests must pay a daily resort fee if they dont book directly with the hotel.

Occupying a large building along the boardwalk, the massive property is peppered with hints of yesteryears grandeur, including impressive details like stained glass ceiling panels in the lobby, overhead chandeliers, and marble floors adorned with colorful Persian-style rugs. The hotels restaurant is no less eye-catching, with vibrant painted ceilings and walls. It feels a bit dated here and there, and, due to its size, some guests complain of a deserted atmosphere, but leisure tourists who dont want to gamble or dont mind a short commute to nearby casinos should be satisfied here.
