Captain Bobs Pontoon fleet is comprised of outboard, four stroke engine pontoon boats. All boats are fully equipped with multiple cup holders, swim platforms, surround sound stereo systems and certified life vests. Used as our summer service and engine parts center, our marina facilities and service staff are prepared to handle all of your boat service needs, from engine repowering to boat detailing.
Yard equipment includes an eight-ton hoist lift, boat ramp, three service bays, a small engine shop, and our fuel dock. The marina is also home to our Lake George boat rental operations where you can rent power, sail, and pontoon boats hourly, daily, and weekly.

Where are you located on the lake?
Great question! We are located in Diamond Point, exactly 5 miles from Lake George Village and Bolton Landing. If you are staying in the south end of the lake we are centrally located to everything.
Do I pay for the Gas?
Yes. You will be sent out with a full tank of fuel. When you return the boat we will fill it up and you are responsible for paying for the amount you used.
What method of payments do you accept?
We accept cash, credit and debit cards. We do not accept personal checks.
What if your boat rentals are sold out?
If we are sold out for the dates you are looking for, please visit our sister marina just down the road , Little Harbor Boat Company.
Are life jackets supplied with your boat rentals?

Best Place To Rent A Speed Boat In Lake George
Yankee Marina and Boat Rentals is the best place to rent in Lake George. We rented a speed boat for two weeks. We had a problem with the first boat but they met us on the Lake with a replacement boat and gave us credit for the day we did the exchange – no questions asked. Their customer service is top notch and the owners and management seem like people who care about providing a great customer experience. We also rented an tube which was brand new. Overall I highly recommend Yankee! We come every summer for the past 10 years and I have tried just about every company. I would definitely rent from them again

- During the main rental season we do not offer discounts of any kind besides the “Safe Boaters” discount which we provide to customers who have a boater’s license or boating safety certificate. This discount is 5% off your total rental amount
Can I Extend My Reservation
- Single and multi-day reservations may extend only if the boat is available the next day or the duration of the requested extension
- Two hour reservations can extend as far as they would like until 5pm. It is an extra fee for each hour, once they go past 4 hours it automatically jumps to the daily rate for that specific boat. A customer will never pay more than the day rate if they return by 5pm

Can I Pick Up The Boat The Day Before My Reservation Start Date
If available we allow an “early pick-up” and a “late drop-off” these options are only available if the boats are available. If available these options do come with an additional fee and will be picked up after they are cleaned or dropped off prior to the start of the next rental day if dropping off early
Where Can I Go On The Lake
You are welcome to take the boats wherever you would like on the lake. For our multiple day rentals we end our service at black mountain point in the “Narrows” section of Lake George. For single day rentals we permit renters to travel up into the beginning of the “Narrows” section of Lake George. If you travel North of either point we unfortunately will not be able to retrieve you.
