Renters who cancel at least 14 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they’ve paid. If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they’ll get back 50%.
Notes: There are no refunds due to late check-ins, early return, change of plans, illness, weather, or car problemsOnce a reservation has been made, a boat may be cancelled for a fee of 15% of the total rental cost if the rental is cancelled before the locked-in date. Once locked in, the renter is responsible for the full cost of the rental. Our family spent the day zipping around on the water in a ski boat, swimming to keep cool, snacking while taking in gorgeous views of the Indiana landscape and tubing behind the boat. This was the first time most of our kids have been pulled behind the boat on a tube and they had so much fun! I love seeing their happy smiles and hearing their gleeful laughter and delighted squeals.

A spokesperson for Indiana University said they are aware of the situation and there will be potential sanctions against students who violate COVID health directives, including unsafe large gatherings off campus.
According to the university’s student COVID policy, that could mean suspensions or expulsion.
Paradise Rental Boats Lake Monroe
Choose from pontoon boats and ski boats or even a WaveRunner. Rentals are either four hour rentals from 9 am 1 pm & 2 pm 6 pm or eight hour rentals, 9 am 5 pm. Prior to your trip, adults who will be operating the boat must take an online boater safety course through Paradise rental company. When you arrive at the Marina, youll check in and a staff member will take you to your boat.
Paradise Rental Boat staff go over the boat with you and teach you how to use the controls. Youll be outfitted with your ski vests and childrens life vests when necessary and then youll be on your way!
When you make your reservation, you can add a two person tube, wakeboard, kneeboard or skis to your reservation for an additional fee. We purchased our own towable tube and rope at Dicks Sporting Goods, but the rental fee at the marina was only $35. I recommend renting from the marina when its available!

Dozens of young people were seen partying on three rental pontoon boats tied together near the Indiana University campus.
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Indiana University says any students who were partying on a lake near Bloomington over Labor Day Weekend could face sanctions for not following the school’s COVID-19 guidelines.
As Labor Day Weekend kicked off, photos and video posted to social media showed dozens of young people packed tightly together on three rental pontoon boats tied together on Lake Monroe, with a fourth nearby.
Health officials are worried social gatherings over the holiday weekend could lead to a spike in new COVID-19 cases, such as those seen after 4th of July and Memorial Day.
The Lake Monroe Boat Rental said in a statement posted to their Facebook page that staff warned the groups of college-aged renters they were not allowed to meet with or tie up to other boats on the water.
After a worker checked on the groups midway through the day and saw the boats tied together, the company said they “acted immediately within the scope of our abilities.”
