The Tims Ford State Park has 20 cabins available around Tims Ford Lake. The cabins are fully furnished with appliances, utensils, linens, etc. You can also go camping via tent on the campground by the lake. The campgrounds available are the Turkey Creek Campground and the Fairview Campground. Campers using tents can also camp on any of the six islands that are on Tims Ford Lake.

Hand sanitizer in every station area. After 4 hours of kayaking we were beyond exhausted. My legs and backside were asleep from sitting so long so when I was getting out of the kayak he made sure I didn’t have sea legs before walking off. Boat Rentals The best activities are right on the water, so head over to one of four marinas on Tims Ford Lake to rent a pontoon. Tims Ford Marina is the largest marina with plenty of pontoon rentals and is ideally located in the middle of the lake, nearest to Lakefront Landing. Lakeview Marina is in Tims Ford State Park and is the only marina offering overnight rentals. Twin Creeks marina is the newest, with usually the most rental availability. We also have a partner who offers weekly pontoon rentals directly from our dock! In peak season, advance reservations are recommended.Bluff CliffsVisit this beautiful cove and jump off the cliffs if you dare. The cove can be quiet and peaceful during the week, but is known on weekends as party cove where you can drop an anchor, cheer on cliff jumpers, and get to know other boaters on the lake.
Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle BoardsWe love to kayak in the morning and before sunset when the lake is calm. We provide a tandem kayak and two stand up paddle boards for guest use at Lakefront Landing. Rentals are also available at Lakeview Marina and Twin Creeks Marina.
Pennington CaveAccessible only by water, Pennington Cave is a beautiful and fun place to visit. Climb on top of the cave or enter the cave on a tube or kayak.
How We Got Our Start
In 2007, Mike and Joanne Grandis purchased a rental house on Lake Keowee. Mike wanted to give a great vacation experience to any who came seeking one, and in the process acquired a boat for his family which he stored at the dock. Over time customers always had a question they asked him – âCan we take the boat outâ? Mike decided to look at the rental scene on the lake, and realized that plenty of people wanted to be able to go out on a boat, but not deal with the hassle of maintaining and cleaning it. And so, Lake Keowee Boat Rentals was born! Over time management of the company was passed over to Mikeâs son, Tyler Grandis, who currently is the general manager. Together they have catered to this community for over 10 years now, with affordable, powerful and luxurious rentals, expanding to add Jet Skis as well. We want to welcome you to our family!
