We purchased our 2012 Four Winns boat in Feb 2017. After a couple of rather difficult purchases in the O’Fallon, IL area over the past few years I was very leery of getting a fair deal on a boat purchase. I have to say though, I was pleasantly surprised by the terrific service and “fair deal” I received from Tim. Very straight forward approach, didn’t over promise but delivered everything we agreed upon. We have now upgraded to a larger boat that has given our family some great memories in the Ozarks. If you want a “fair deal”, I highly recommend these folks.

On Labor Day weekend, I receive a call from my boss’s brother and says his boat is overheating. He asked who to call on a Saturday afternoon. I hang up and call Rome Mason. Rome tells me he can have a mechanic there, with the parts, within the hour. In an hour and a half the water pump and new serpentine belt is replaced and he is back on the water ecstatically happy. SUPPLY – Few things are worse for the bottom line than not having enough inventory. Rick and Steves marine businesses stock as many boats as they feel the market will stand, and then focus on quick turnover.

LOVE – We only get into lines that were sold on, Rick said. Its clear this is a major factor for these two. They know not all boats are created equal, and they know boaters know it, too. Customer brand loyalty is common in auto sales its even more serious in boat sales.

REPUTATION – People that have worked for us, a lot of ems been there for quite awhile, Steve says in his Midwestern drawl. What we say were gonna do, we end up doing do what you say and say what youre gonna do I think that has followed us around the Lake.
