Fort Lauderdale, FL Ticket sales are now live for the 63rd annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show , which will occur from October 26-30 just steps away from the sands of sunny South Florida. Taking place across seven locations, including the Broward County Convention Center and the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, guests are getting ready to sail-abrate with boating and yachting exhibitions that are set to provide an unforgettable experience during the five-day show. Owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and produced by Informa Markets, this monumental event showcases more world and U.S. debuts than any other boat show in the country.

With the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show quickly approaching, SuperYacht Times takes a look at some of the largest yachts attending this years event.Coral Ocean | Lürssen | 72.54-metre | 1994

Built by the German shipyard Lürssen in 1994 as one of the yards largest projects at the time, she featured original exterior and interior design by Jon Bannenberg while her builder was responsible for the naval architecture. Originally known as Coral Island, Coral Ocean recently received a 35 million extensive refit at STP shipyard in Mallorca. She has been entirely redesigned by the Ahoy Club team, the company who now own and charter the vessel. Built in 2013 by Feadship for an experienced owner, the 62-metre motor yacht Sea Owl is one of several collaborations by the Dutch shipyard and renowned British studio, Winch Design. She is known for her jade mist green hull and matching oyster white superstructure. Her whimsical interior is created for comfortable family living and is inspired by a unique underwater theme.

How To Get Around During The Boat Show

The 63rd annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show returns Wednesday, October 26, through Sunday, October 30. This premier event is an opportunity to showcase our beautiful city the Yachting Capital of the World and support South Floridas $12.5 billion marine industry and the 149,000 jobs it brings to the area.

There is a lot to see and experience, from the recently renovated Broward County Convention Center to scenic views of A1A along Fort Lauderdale Beach toward Las Olas Marina. The five-day show features a thousand exhibitors from around the world with more than 1,300 boats on display. The show attracts more than 100,000 attendees, so expect event areas to be very busy.

Heres what you need to know to make it easier to get around:

Parking

Parking along the beach will be very limited. The only parking locations will be the Las Olas Garage, located at 200 E. Las Olas Circle, and metered on-street parking spaces along A1A north of E. Las Olas Boulevard. Heres a better option:

Additional parking locations are available along Las Olas Boulevard west of SE 12th Avenue. . The LauderGO! Community Shuttle also will be operating under its normal schedule during the event.

Traffic

Expect A1A and Seabreeze Boulevard to be heavily congested and slow-moving. Following the plan above is recommended in order to avoid driving along the beach if possible.

Fairline typically produces ultra-large and highly luxurious boats. This year, they’re debuting a scaled-down version of the high-style boats Fairline is known for delivering. The F//Line 33 is Fairline’s smallest boat yet. And while smaller than their previously released vessels, it’s got plenty of punch. The interior gives off sporty vibes suitable for a Formula 1 driver and includes a comfortable berth. On the water performance is nothing to sneeze at. Top-end speeds are expected to be at 55 MPH, thanks to dual Volvo Penta stern drives.

As for the Squadron 68, 2022 brought along changes to the model previosuly released in 2019. Changes include a new integrated hard top, newly styled topsides, and an added door joining the cabin to the sidedecks.
