Another solution that doesnt punish nature is the Sunnyside Multi-Strip Advanced Paint & Varnish Remover. It too contains no methylene chloride, effectively clinging to vertical paint surfaces and pulling up to 15 layers away from all boating substrate materials with little spillage.
After applying Multi-Strip with either brush, spray or roller, wipe away from surfaces that are not intended for paint removal with a cloth. Wait 3-5 hours depending on the temperature and scrape away.

The thing that impressed me about the TotalBoat Wet Edge marine paint is that it is effortless to apply. Straight out of the can, it already has a perfect consistency. It does not need a thinner. Just mix the contents thoroughly. It was so easy to use that I only needed several brushes to cover my 14-inch sailboat with several coats.

How To Prime A Boat
Once youve prepared the surface and have a clean, smooth surface free of peeling paint, youre ready to prime the boat. While our directions are for two coats of primer, please note you may need to repeat filling and sanding a few times, depending on the number of dents and low spots you have.
