Wildlife Art And Stunning View Of The National Elk Refuge
As an area well known for its diverse wildlife, it’s only fitting that Jackson is home to the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Here, wildlife-themed art from around the world is showcased, both indoors and in the incredible sculpture garden outside. Animals are portrayed in their natural habitats through photographs, sculptures, and lithographs.
Outside the museum sits a glorious backdrop of the Jackson Hole valley and views across the National Elk Refuge where wolves, bison, and elk run freely. You can visit the refuge itself for a sleigh ride in winter, to meet live raptors, or simply to marvel at the wildlife here.

End Ties In Grand Teton Are Moving To Recreationgov
As the Bureau of Reclamation continues to draw down Jackson Lake to supply water to irrigation reservoirs in Idaho, low water levels require us to discontinue Colter Bay Village Marina operations earlier than anticipated. At this time, End Ties are no longer available for the 2021 season.
Reservations will migrate to Recreation.gov for the 2022 season and can be booked on a 6-month rolling basis. We recommend visitors check our website regularly for additional details and updates.
End tie reservations are expected to fill quickly! We recommend visitors plan ahead and book early.
Visitors must create an account on the Recreation.gov website prior to making campground reservations. Those who already have an account are encouraged to confirm their login and password information.
The Colter Bay Marina offers slips, buoys, and end ties for guests who want to explore Jackson Lake from the comfort of their own boat. Slips and buoys can only be reserved for an entire summer season . We have waitlists for each option. However, end ties are available for rent on a nightly basis on Recreation.gov.
Please note that, due to low water levels, the Colter Bay Marina may not operate for the 2022 season.
