Owner Captain Bob Robinson has been fishing the Florida Keys since 1971 catching the big game fish. With the ever growing popularity of the Florida Keys and fishing the Florida Keys he started the boat rental company Vacation Boat Rentals. His desire was to put his extensive knowledge and experience of fishing the Florida Keys to good use in helping others enjoy the sport. Great Experience On The Lake
We had a wonderful 3 hour boat ride with Captain Bob Driving us around and taking the kids tubing on Lake George. He told us about the locals living on the South side of the Lake near Bolton Landing. He took us to a quiet cove for tubing and took us to Loch Cove to get out and swim. All 3 kids said they had a blast. So did the 5 adults. We will definitely do it again.

Stay far away from this Grumpy Old RUDE Man. He is a scam artist and has hidden charges. When I called for an explanation he said its Processing Fees. I said thats not stated on Contract so why wasnt I told? HE HUNG UP ON MEnow he wont take my Calls.I should have read all the reviews prior and took the first call to him as a warning sign when he was Rude when asked about Pricing.

While away the day as you cruise down some of the most scenic and beautiful rivers in the Dunnellon, Florida area. Located just minutes south of Ocala, Dunnellon Florida offers some of the best fishing and sight seeing around. You can enjoy lunch at the Blue Gator Restaurant overlooking the Withlacoochee River, then rent a boat and cruise down the Rainbow River, one of the cleanest and clearest spring fed rivers in the State of Florida. Enjoy a day of fresh water fishing or just float down the river and enjoy the wildlife including otters, turtles, opossum, raccoons, water fowl and wading birds even osprey and American bald eagles.

Captain Bobs Pontoon fleet is comprised of outboard, four stroke engine pontoon boats. All boats are fully equipped with multiple cup holders, swim platforms, surround sound stereo systems and certified life vests. We have multiple sized boats to accommodate lots of summer getaway fun on Lake George. Some great places to visit all in a days time are Paradise Bay, Red Rock Bay, Black Mountain Point, The Narrows, Long Island, Dollar Island, Log Bay and Sandy Bay. Our apologies, boats are NOT pet-friendly so you must leave Fido on shore! Pontoon boats are available in-season only . See our rain policy here. Reservations can be made for half days , full days , multiple days or weekly rentals.

Captain Bob Shircliff is a boat captain who earned his USCG Captain’s License in 2003, and upgraded to a USCG 100 Ton Master’s License in 2012. He has almost 30,000 miles of cruising and vessel delivery experience on the inland waterways and in open water. He is a member of the American Professional Captain’s Association Random Drug Testing Program, is CPR/First Aid Certified, and is a SSI certified SCUBA diver.
