How Much Do Exclusive Boat Clubs Cost
Exclusive boat clubs can cost thousands of dollars per month, as well as a hefty initial fee. Keep in mind that the most expensive boat clubs are typically those located in the most densely populated cities.
When slips come at a premium, you can expect the monthly dues to be more expensive as well.
A boat club that has a more extensive fleet is also likely to charge more per month. In return, you likely have access to much newer models and a wider variety of sailing opportunities.
Exclusive boat clubs must charge more to make up for the fact that they do not have incoming fees from a wider group of members.
However, this does come with some benefit to you.
When you are paying this much for a boat club membership, you are also likely receiving true unlimited access to the fleet.
You can typically place a reservation for any day of the week on any of their available boats with a greater degree of success. In fact, many exclusive boat clubs boast a reservation success rate of ninety percent or higher.

What Are The Advantages
If you missed it in the paragraph above, the most important advantage of the boat club is that the club maintains the fleet of boats. Yes, you heard that right! As a club member, all you have to do is reserve your boat, show up, and have fun. Members can enjoy the boating life completely worry free. Maintenance, cleaning, storage, insurance, slip fees, etc these responsibilities and more fall on the club owners. The members dont have to worry about any of that. Hows that for carefree?
Another huge advantage of the boat club is that insurance and liability are handled by the club. Training is provided by the club, both group training and on-the-water training. For an individual or family that may be new to boating, this is invaluable.
With all the advantages, though, the most important thing about boat club membership is that you can enjoy EVERYTHING that boating has to offer, with NO WORRIES about any of the expensive, boring things that come with owning a boat.

What Are The Reasons To Vary The Onetime/ First Entry Fee
They make the cost of the onetime entry fee based on theirlocal market situations that vary regularly. For example, youre going to buy a20002-foot house in San Francisco, CA or Seattle, WA.
Itll definitely cost much more than that of a house in Sarasota, FL.In the same way, if you want to be a member of a famous boating spot, you mustpay a bit more. Also, the franchise is facing competition for narrow slip spacein contrast to other entities.
These include their commercial and the boat owners interestin this concern. Thus, when a marina charges more fees for slip, dock, andoffice space, the franchise owners need more money to operate their boatingbusiness.
As a result, the onetime entry fee can vary widely from alarger metropolitan area to a smaller one.
How Much Does Freedom Boat Club Cost
How much does it cost to belong to Freedom Boat Club? Its typically the first question I get from someone who is considering joining.
There are various elements that determine the fees. There is not a cookie-cutter, standardized pricing that it applicable coast to coast. Membership fees vary from club to club, just as some fitness clubs charge $70 a month while others $15 a month. Location, amenities, and other factors all play a role in determining fees.
Every member of Freedom Boat Club, and there are 15,000 across the nation, pay a one-time fee to join, and then a monthly fee. It is to be expected that a Freedom Boat Club franchise operating from a five-star marina would have significantly higher expenses than one based in a more modest marina.
Please keep in mind that many of the franchises and corporate clubs occasionally offer promotions and incentives during the year, so be sure to ask if special offers are available.
Monthly Membership Plans
These fees also vary across the country for the reasons cited above.
Many of our clubs are located in warm climates and operate year round with unlimited boating. This requires year-round staffing and maintenance of the fleet.
Thats why when someone asks, What does it cost to join Freedom Boat Club, the answer is: It depends.

The Truth About Freedom Boat Club
I almost didnt do it
Growing up we always had a boat and recently Ive been itching to get one.
But then I started crunching the numbers
You need to pay for the down payment, monthly payments, registration, insurance, maintenance, trailer, and storage, among other things.
Plus, you only have one boat.
What if I want to take my kids out tubing, or go bass fishing, or get into some skinny water looking for snook and redfish?
One type of boat is not ideal for the variety of activities we like to do on the water
Which lead me to Freedom Boat Club.
Id heard lots of misinformation about Freedom Boat Club regarding their prices, the number of times you can take their boats out, etc., so Freedom Boat Club wasnt even on my radar for the longest time
But the price of getting my own boat made me reevaluate my options.
In this podcast episode, I have my man Alex Anchor from the Winter Haven Freedom Boat Club to help talk about the pros, cons, and misconceptions when it comes to Freedom Boat Club.
Im not getting paid by them and this is not a sponsored post, but Salt Strong is all about helping you make memories on the water with your loved ones and this is one of the best deals Ive done when it comes to boating and fishing.
Ive been enjoying being a part of the Club and I just wanted to share this with you in hopes of clearing up some misconceptions.
