In recent years, I have seen slips and dock rights trade hands for as little as $40k upwards of $125k. These have been both on and off Lake Minnetonka, and have been for easements, for small parcels of land adjacent to waters with covered slips, my own 5 foot wide parcel on Medicine Lake which made the front page of the Star Tribune, and more.
In 2018, an appraiser reached out to me to get my opinion on the boat slips in front of the Wayzata Boat Works as that property is being readied to be redeveloped. Lost Lake Slips & Mound Harbor Area
Lost Lake Mound Harbor District Municipal Slips
The City offers 47 municipal boat slips for seasonal rental in the Lost Lake Mound Harbor District located off of the intersection of Shoreline Drive and Auditors Road. Twenty-seven of these slips are designated for use by the residents of the Villas on Lost Lake townhome association and ten are designated for future use by residents of Lifestyles Communities Housing Association Co-op. There will be a minimum of ten slips for rent to the general public including any remaining unused slips not rented by the two association groups.
Note: Lost Lake Slip holders are not considered part of the City of Mound Municipal Dock Program.
Mound residents renting slips at Lost Lake can also concurrently apply to be on the City Dock Program Wait List.

Clothing that is not colorfast will bleed into the upholstery and discolor the vinyl. We will charge you for damage to the seats.
